Brett is actively serving in the trenches of the 21st century Church experimenting every day. He has over 20 years of experience pastoring churches with worship attendance ranging from 25 to 1800. Brett has often been appointed to churches with their “glory days” well in the rearview mirror. Collaborating with amazing laity, new vitality has been sparked, mission enhanced, and new people reached.

With a passion for reaching new people, Brett has led his churches to start and sustain Messy Church, Recovery Church, Dinner Church, and other Fresh Expressions. In each setting, Brett and inspired laity have adapted unique approaches to match the specific DNA of church and community leading to renewed vitality and Kingdom effectiveness. Brett considers himself a positive deviant who enjoys dancing with the Holy Spirit beyond the norm.

Brett shares practical ideas and inspiration through high-energy presentation. He has vast experience leading trainings in district, Conference, national, and international settings.
